Health Check

If you reside in the UK and fall within the age range of 40 to 74, it is recommended that you undergo a health check at our pharmacy. This check can be done for a small fee.

The health check typically lasts around 30 minutes. During this time, a healthcare professional will ask you a series of straightforward questions about your lifestyle and family history. Rest assured, there is no need to worry as you will not be asked any embarrassing questions or be required to remove any clothing.

During the health check, you can expect the following:

– A blood pressure test
– Measurement of your weight and height
– A finger prick blood test to check your blood sugar levels

After your blood pressure test, blood sugar level test, and BMI results, our pharmacist will be happy to provide lifestyle advice or recommend a visit to your GP if necessary. They may offer suggestions on how to improve your diet or increase your level and frequency of physical exercise.
